These terms cover your use of Podvo, the podcast app, and this website. By using Podvo you agree to them. Podvo is made by Cassian D’Arcy in the United Kingdom (“we”, “us”).
Podvo is free to download and use. You can use it for your own, personal listening. Please don’t misuse it: don’t try to break, overload or copy our services, or use them to break the law.
Podvo plays podcasts that their publishers make public in their feeds. We don’t own or control them, and we aren’t responsible for what they say. Episode audio, artwork and show notes belong to the people who made them. Downloads in Podvo are for listening in the app.
Ad skipping finds the adverts in an episode and lets Podvo skip them. It is free for three months on each install during early access. After that it may become part of a paid subscription, Podvo Premium. Before you pay for anything, the price and what it includes will be shown in the app and charged through Google Play, under Google Play’s terms.
Ad skipping isn’t perfect: it can miss an advert or skip a few seconds of the programme.
What Podvo stores and sends is described in the Privacy Policy.
We work hard to make Podvo reliable, but it is provided “as is”. We can’t promise it will always work, be available, or be free of mistakes. We may change, pause or stop features, including the ones that rely on our servers.
Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under UK law, or our liability where the law doesn’t allow it to be limited. Otherwise, we aren’t liable for losses that come from using Podvo, such as a missed episode or lost listening data.
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we’ll update the date at the top and, for big changes, say so in the app.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
